Do you think the government is doing all it can to prevent disease?

Hello, I will give my opinion on whether the government does all it can to prevent diseases, I think it doesn't do its best to prevent them.
My opinion is based on what I see, there is a disease that has become visible lately but not so much for the government to take it seriously and that is depression, unfortunately I feel that the government doesn't help too much and personally the candidates for political office, promise to improve the medical system for mental health just because the pandemic made the serious problems of depression to be seen, but they do it to win votes because this disease has been present for a long time and nobody talked about it.
To take an hour with a psychiatrist or psychologist, in public health costs too much, while in the private sector, they give you the hour, but they charge too much if the person doesn't belong  to an isapre.

I think the government should have more psychiatrist personnel to be able to  help more people to prevent or treat depression, it is an issue that is trying to avoid it but hopefully on day they will be able to improve
it to prevent this disease.
